2026-10-31 — Moved onto the shared template; HMAC, file hash and comparison added
- The site now renders through the same template as the other tools: tools hub, embeddable widget, generated privacy and terms pages.
- The MD5 implementation is unchanged, and the home page still shows MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256 and SHA-512 of the text.
- The page title, description and FAQ mentioned HMAC; the home page never computed one. HMAC calculator now does, verified against Node's
createHmacfor all four algorithms. - Added: file hash (the FAQ used to say files were not supported; it now explains the 256 MB limit).
- Added: hash comparison.
